Pablo Escobar was born Pablo Emilio Escobar Gaviria,in December I, 1949 to a farmer father and a school teacher mother in Colombia.
After his birth, the parents soon moved to Envigado,a nearby Community of Medellin.
At a very young age, Pablo Escobar had involved in several criminal activities which included stealing tombstones to sell to potential buyers, selling of fake diplomas.
His first arrest was documented to have happened, when he stole cars and this offense landed him his first arrest in 1974.
At the time, when Cocaine industry began to grow in Colombia, and also in nearby Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia, because they were the biggest growers of Cocaine.
Pablo Escobar had net his interest in the business and soon became and involved himself in the drug business and soon involved himself in the drug smuggling business and grew so well in it and thereafter became the leader of a crime organization called the Medellin Cartel.
His associate partners included the Jorge Luis,Fabio also known as the Ochoa brothers.
Pablo Escobar as the head of the Medellin Cartel, focused majorly on the production, transportation and the sales of cocaine in the crime organization headed by Pablo Escobar, the Medellin Cartel had gained momentum in the cocaine trade, that was the beginning of massive authority.
Pablo Escobar according to right information was worth $25billion,he had so much wealth at his disposal,he was quoted to have had an estate called Hacienda Napoles in Colombia and the esti was estimated to have worth $63million and the estate comprised of the following;a zoo,a soccer field, artificial lakes,a bull fighting area,an airstrip and a tennis court

Pablo Escobar funded so many projects to support the poor masses and that generousity earned him the nickname "Robinhood."
Report have it that Pablo Escobar had to burn a whooping $ 2million dollars in other to keep his daughter warm, when she fell sick in one of his hideout escapades.
Pablo Escobar Ruthlessness
According to report, Pablo Escobar and his cartel placed a bomb aboard a plane, because an alleged informant was onboard and wanted to kill the person and unfortunately ,more than one hundred people became the victims.
Moreso,his victims were government officials, policemen and civilians .
Pablo Escobar had once been told that he would be extradited to the United States and his response was that,he would rather have a grave in Colombia than a jail cell in the US.
In 1991,in June, Pablo Escobar surrendered to the Colombian government and he was imprisoned, not in a public prison mansion that had all what he could enjoy to his satisfaction,he built a luxurious prison befitting to his taste,he had all the following inclusive:a nightclub, sauna, waterfall, soccer field, telephones, computers fax machines.
However, after Pablo Escobar tortured and killed two of his cartel members at his prison mansion, that the government officials decided to take him to a less accommodating prison, but before he could be transferred,he escaped prison in July 1992 to a high out.
So it was his escaping from the prison, that made the Colombia government in conjunction with the U.S officials and rival drug smugglers, decided to launch a manhunt on Pablo Escobar.
On December 2,1993 when he was still in the celebration of his birthday, his hideout was found out, according to reports after finding out they were surrounded with police officers with exchange of firearms, Pablo Escobar and one of his bodyguard, narrowly escaped to the roof top and other reports have that Pablo Escobar died of severe wounds incurred during the exchange of gun battle, but some said,he committed suicide.
